Safety Courses
The purpose of these safety classes is to equip churches, and their staff, regarding safety issues because churches are on the front lines of helping people who are hurting. We want to be an advocate for local churches because they are positioned to care deeply for people who are in need, but sometimes these needs turn into safety issues.
What to Expect
When a church signs up for a safety class, they will receive a 1-hour training that includes:
Child Abuse and Safety

Discuss a Biblical approach to caring protecting children who are at risk of abuse/neglect

Notice the signs and risk factors for child abuse/neglect

Address practical steps to respond to abuse, including child abuse reporting
Suicide Risk and Safety:

Discuss a Biblical approach to caring individuals at risk of suicide.

Notice the signs and risk factors for individual at risk of suicide.

Address practical steps to respond to someone at risk of suicide.
Domestic Violence and Safety:

Discuss a Biblical approach to caring individuals impacted by domestic violence.
-
Notice the signs and risk factors regarding domestic violence.
-
Address practical steps to respond to someone/a couple involved with domestic violence.
Stronger, safer communities with risk assessment tools.
How it Works
Step 1
Fill out the interest form on this page, where you can choose the safety course that your organization is interested in and let us know if you prefer in-person or online sessions.
Step 2
Once your form is submitted, our administrator will connect you with a Saga therapist whose schedule aligns with yours for the course.
Step 3
Once your therapist and time slot are confirmed, we'll send you a secure payment link. If you have any questions throughout the process, our administrator will be available.
