Sometimes we go through difficult events in life that leave us struggling to function. Sometimes after these painful experiences, we’re left with overwhelming intrusive thoughts, anxiety that we can’t turn off, flashbacks, defeating self-talk, low mood, or other symptoms that can make us feel lost and alone. 

Maybe you’ve endured a heartbreaking pregnancy loss or traumatic birth, a single event trauma (e.g., a car crash, an assault or sexual trauma, etc.), or maybe you have had to endure many traumatic experiences throughout your childhood or adult life that continue to affect you.

Or perhaps you have chronic anxiety, feel constantly on alert, and aren’t entirely sure where this anxiety comes from, but you are ready to start feeling calmer and more at ease. Whatever it may be, I would love to come alongside you and help you find relief.

I received my Master’s of Science from California Lutheran University in 2014. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of California, and am the owner of Meadowview Therapy. I have specialized in PTSD/trauma work and anxiety throughout the entirety of my career, and have extensive training in various treatment modalities. I am a certified EMDR therapist, and find this work to be the most efficient and effective for the majority of the clients that I work with. I also have training in Perinatal Mental Health, and am currently pursuing my PMH-C. As a Christian, I am happy to incorporate your faith into our work together as much as you’d like.
