About Me
My name is Lisa Pileggi Almonte. I am a licensed marriage and family therapist in my home state of California and in South Carolina. Since I was a teen, I’ve desired to be in this field. I attended Life Bible College, now Life Pacific University, for my Bachelor’s Degree in Biblical Studies. I was a licensed and ordained minister through the Foursquare Church in 2001. Following which, I worked at my local church in Eagle Rock and then onto Foursquare’s main offices in Los Angeles. After teaching abroad for several years, I completed a Master’s program at Azusa Pacific University and received my degree in Clinical Psychology. I have worked with a wide range of populations, but my passions are with adults of all ages in the midst of life-transitions. I have been trained in Havening™ and in Brené Brown’s The Daring Way™. I have an extensive history in working with addiction and codependency. My therapy approach is nonjudgmental and supportive. I will walk alongside you and assist as we excavate life together through its many challenges.
