I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I received my Bachelors of Social Work from Trinity Christian College and my Masters of Social Work from California State University Long Beach. My clinical work has consisted of working at various non-profits including overseas work in South America with trauma survivors. I have worked at various rape crisis centers with survivor's of sexual trauma and domestic violence. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral therapy, Trauma-Informed Care, Community Resiliency Model, and a psychodynamic approach to treatment. As a bilingual, Spanish speaking therapist I also integrate culture and family dynamics into treatment.

One of my greatest passions has been to witness individuals experience emotional healing. I truly believe in the power of empathy, connection, and self-awareness. I believe in creating a resting place that feels safe and comforting to discover the root cause of emotional wounds.

As a Christian therapist, I believe it is crucial to discuss mental health within the body of Christ. We are a new creation through our salvation in Jesus; however, there will be patterns and behaviors that will develop as a result of unresolved trauma and unmet childhood needs. Therefore, I believe therapy is a great tool to utilize to further understand God’s promises for your life and better connect with the relationships in your life.
